About Us

Hi, I’m Lauren – the heart behind Peak a Boo Baby Equipment Rentals.

I’m a proud mama to a beautiful little boy and have been lucky enough to call SunPeaks home for the past four years. After welcoming my son in 2023, I fully embraced motherhood and felt inspired to create something that combined my love for family and our wonderful community. That’s how Peak a Boo Baby Equipment Rentals was born.

Traveling with young children can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. I started this family-centred, community-driven business to help other families experience the magic of SunPeaks without the stress that often comes with packing and planning for little ones. Whether your visiting for a weekend or an extended stay, our goal is simple: to make your trip easier, lighter, and more enjoyable by delivering safe, high-quality baby equipment right to your door.

At Peak a Boo Baby Equipment Rentals, we believe having kids shouldn’t hold you back from adventure but allow you to see the world through new, sweet little eyes. Our Services

Rentals

We offer a wide range of baby gear to make your stay in SunPeaks as stress free and comfortable as possible. From safe and cozy sleep options to high chairs, strollers, toboggans, and more-we’ve got your little one covered. Every item in our inventory is originally purchased new to ensure its safety, thoroughly inspected, and meticulously cleaned, sanitized and laundered between each rental.

We take safety seriously: all of our equipment is registered with the manufacturer when possible to stay on top of any recalls, and each piece is regularly rotated out and replaced to ensure top quality.

While mild wear and tear may occur with certain items, anything showing excessive use is retired, and if in good enough condition donated to local families in need, immediately.

Products

Traveling already comes with a long To Do List-let us take one thing off your plate. With advanced notice guests can add on our baby essentials delivery service. Whether you're visiting for an extended stay or simply don't want to pack an entire suitcase of diapers, wipes and formula, we've got you covered! just send us your list and we will handpick your baby items with care and deliver them alongside your rentals.

Please note: this service is exclusively for baby related items and is only available to guests booking equipment rentals. For all other grocery or delivery needs we are happy to recommend the amazing team at SunPeaks Cargo – your go to for local delivery solutions.

Delivery & Pick Up

When we can, we try to work alongside your property management team or rental owner to deliver, set up and pick up your items so they are there when you arrive and so there is no need to fight with set up after long flights or packing up the items for pick up.

If we are not able to arrange this we will deliver and pick up items based on your check in and check out times. If either are outside of business hours we may leave items at your doorstep and ask that you pack items to go and leave them out at the front door to be picked up when you depart.

How do I reserve equipment?

You can request equipment through our contact form, by phone or email.

We recommend booking as soon as you have solid travel plans/dates booked. We are a small family run business building our inventory as we gauge need. The more time we have the easier it will be to fulfill your travel needs.

All rental items are delivered right to your door. When possible we will work with your property management team to have items delivered and set up prior to your arrival for ease and convenience. If we cannot do so items will be delivered upon your arrival, or left at your doorstep if your arrival is outside of business hours. Pick up works the same and we just ask that if we are not working with your property management team for pick up and you are departing outside of business hours that you pack up items and leave them outside the front door for pick up.

Delivery rates are built into our pricing and include pick up. Last minute rentals however do have a $60 delivery charge. We do ask that you remember I also have a small child so last minute late night deliveries may not always be an available yet we will do our best to get equipment to you as soon as possible.

All payments are processed through SQUARE. An invoice will be emailed to you and payment can be made directly through the invoice online. Square accepts all major credit cards and debit cards.

Cancellations made less then 48 hours prior to arrival are subject to a two night minimum charge and in the case of our baby essentials delivery service a $50 delivery fee.

We want you to get exactly what you envisioned for your stay. We will ensure that you are given an accurate description including photos of the equipment your renting. If the dissatisfaction is due to quality of the item we are more then happy to exchange for a different item during business hours. Please ensure you are sharing your dissatisfaction as early in your rental period as possible so we can rectify the issues in a timely manner.

Any damages that require maintenance or replacement of the item will be at the renter’s expense.

We are always looking to build and approve on our offerings and are more than open to sourcing items for your stay. This is not a guarantee that we will be able to provide said items however we will do our best!
